Carrie Matthews attended the University of Florida’s School of Communications with a major in advertising and a minor in journalism. While homeschooling (and eventually graduating) her own children, Carrie also taught at Master’s Hand. After “retiring” from Master’s Hand in 2017, she worked at two SVVSD K-8 public schools in their after-school enrichment and summer camp programs. With the Lord’s guidance and direction, she established her own Christian homeschool teaching and tutoring business called The Roaming Schoolhouse in 2018 and is still busy teaching weekly classes out of her home. After much prayer and confirmation, she returned to teaching at Master’s Hand Longmont. The 2024-2025 school year will be her 18th year serving our Savior and the sweet families at Master’s Hand Longmont.
